At Primrose Bank we take great pride in our staff, they are the heart of Primrose. At the last staff meeting, we were pleased to announced not only employee of the month, but also 2017’s employee of the year.
Candidates for employee of the year consisted of previous employee of the month winners and were chosen by the residents themselves.
It is with great pride that we congratulate Elaine Smith as 2017’s employee of the year and trust that she will enjoy her well-deserved prize.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all our staff who have worked above and beyond for us the last year and look forward to congratulating all future winners.

Primrose Bank Cruise line set sail for Germany
Last weekend we had a successful trip to Germany for the German Christmas markets.
The day consisted of VR headsets around the famous sites in Germany, followed by Cuckoo clock making and stein decorating.
Lunch was traditional German fayre of jager snitzel followed by heise Kirchen mit kirsh.
The afternoon brought our very own German Christmas Market, featuring a variety of stalls, such as Hunca Munka artisan soaps and bath treats and the delicious Lancashire Shortbread.
The Market was brought to a close with mugs of gluhwein and hog roast sandwiches.
Our final stop in Germany was at “Primel Brau” as we transformed the dining room into a traditional bierkeller for an evening of beer tasting.
We would like to thank everyone who took part in the Christmas markets and everyone who came along to enjoy the day with us.
Primrose Bank are delighted to invite you to our open day celebration
